Alan Rabinowitz spoked movingly about his love of jaguars and how a childhood stutter affected made him bond with big cats. David Quammen talked about his new book on Ebola and how important it is for us to empathise with and help the peoples of West Africa; last but not least, Outside editor, Hampton Sides, talked about the fatal Arctic voyage of the USS Jeanette.
