Book Talk Highlights July-August

If you haven’t already Bookmarked it, we have some really exciting things coming up in Book Talk, the new National Geographic slot I am curating. Out today, an interview with author Josh Horowitz, whose book War of the Whales, is about the US Navy’s secret underwater sonar programmes and the effect they have on whales. On the 6th July, we have the brilliant, New Yorker China correspondent, Evan Osnos, talking about his new book, Age of Ambition. Then, on July 27th., the anniversary of the outbreak of World War One, we have David Reynolds, whose book The Long Shadow, has been hailed as a masterpiece. And lots more, every Sunday and Wednesday.
